Description

  • Surface consumer, market, and business insights by monitoring member feedback, market signals, and competitive activity.
  • Partner with Product to influence prioritization and become the internal authority on engagement and related business metrics for your feature set.
  • Define product positioning and messaging, including clear value propositions, messaging frameworks, and content libraries.
  • Track feature engagement and drive initiatives that improve awareness, adoption, and repeat use.
  • Lead feature go-to-market strategy and execution for new releases, including target audience definition, positioning, and creative briefs.
  • Partner with channel leads to bring marketing campaigns to life across relevant channels.
  • Shape the seasonal product marketing calendar and inform product launch timing around consumer moments.
  • Align Product, Product Design, channel teams, and Brand Design to keep cross-functional projects moving and maintain quality across the full consumer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer product marketing, ideally for a direct-to-consumer app-based product.
  • Demonstrated experience owning full-cycle feature go-to-market launches from positioning through execution.
  • Strong product marketing craft, including positioning frameworks, creative briefs, and feature narratives that translate complex product value into consumer language.
  • Strong consumer instincts with the ability to synthesize user, market, and competitor signals into decisions.
  • Self-directed and adaptive, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and thrive in evolving environments.
  • Curiosity, humility, empathy, and open-mindedness.
  • Passion for the outdoors and the AllTrails mission.
  • Experience in consumer tech, the outdoor industry, or a subscription-based company is preferred.
  • U.S.-based remote work eligibility; preference for candidates based in or near San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Denver, or New York.
