Description

  • Apply biostatistical methods to support clinical trials and data management throughout the project life cycle.
  • Provide statistical planning, design, analysis, and reporting in line with project, organizational, and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for project teams, quality and study auditors, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team of statisticians and SAS Programmers.
  • Carry out statistical analyses and direct programmers in interpreting and translating results into biomedical terms.
  • Prepare statistical data results for reports, research papers, publications, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Academic Research to develop and present novel biometrical trial technologies, processes, and findings.
  • Provide statistical expertise on study policies, protocols, implementation timelines, data interpretation, and publication planning.
  • Prepare statistical analysis plans and oversee data collection, management, randomization, and analysis.
  • Manage staff assignments, performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, training, and onboarding activities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required; a Master's degree in Statistics or Biostatistics is preferred.
  • Professional certifications are required.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience is required.
  • Experience in industry or in an academic setting is preferred.
  • Very strong communication skills are required.
  • Fluency in German is required.
  • Experience with clinical trials, biostatistics, or statistical analysis is implied for the role.
  • Experience with SAS Programming is relevant to the position.
  • Ability to work within regulatory, sponsor, and organizational requirements is needed.
