Description

  • Develop innovative solutions that help users get the most value from Algolia.
  • Design, build, and evolve a scalable growth platform.
  • Run experiments and A/B tests to evaluate and select solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify opportunities and shape ideas.
  • Mentor other software engineers and support their growth.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver a strong growth foundation.
  • Improve engineering quality, processes, and tooling.
  • Help define the team roadmap and drive bottom-up initiatives.
  • Contribute to new integrations, internal platforms, and AI-based data processing efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience with event-driven infrastructure in GCP or AWS.
  • Experience with a server-side typed or untyped language.
  • Willingness to learn Ruby and potentially Golang.
  • Passion for delivering the best user experience to diverse user groups.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze the impact of changes.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS is preferred.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or Growth team is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Hex is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely within the specified country for remote roles.
