Description

  • Design, develop, and evolve Algolia’s Salesforce B2C Commerce integration.
  • Own the integration’s architecture, scalability, technical direction, and ongoing improvement.
  • Manage technical work from design through delivery and maintenance.
  • Write technical RFCs and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Improve integration quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Investigate complex integration issues and develop solutions with Engineering, Product, Support, and customer-facing teams.
  • Support roadmap planning with effort estimates and technical improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce experience, including SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs.
  • Experience designing and maintaining production SFCC integrations.
  • Strong JavaScript skills with experience in RequireJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services.
  • Knowledge of automated testing, test-suite maintenance, debugging, code quality, and maintainable software design.
  • Ability to own complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement reliable solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings, remediation plans, and trade-offs through documentation and RFCs.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; collaborative approach aligned with Algolia’s values.
  • Experience with Algolia, search, indexing systems, React, headless commerce, Adobe Commerce, PHP, ACCS, or Adobe App Builder is preferred.
  • Experience building publicly distributed cartridges, plugins, SDKs, integrations, or open-source software is preferred.

  • Annual base salary range of $163,000–$214,000 USD.
