Description

  • Lead a team of approximately 5 Solutions Engineers across AMER covering Commercial, Enterprise, and Strategic accounts.
  • Develop SEs to improve technical storytelling and lead the pre-sales narrative.
  • Own technical evaluation success across the full AMER deal cycle from discovery through business close.
  • Partner with regional Sales leaders and AEs to align coverage, prioritize pursuits, and build joint pipeline and account strategy.
  • Coach SEs on consultative selling, customer business outcomes, and mapping capabilities to quantifiable ROI.
  • Champion AI adoption across the SE team to improve productivity, ramp time, deal velocity, and demo/PoC creation.
  • Drive the Value Engineering process using real quantitative customer data to support business objectives.
  • Partner with Demo Engineering to create compelling examples that demonstrate product value and ROI.
  • Support quarterly quota attainment by securing technical wins on net new business in the region.
  • Recruit, onboard, and ramp new SE hires as the team scales.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Professional Services to ensure smooth technical handoff and post-sale adoption, expansion, and renewal.
  • Work with Product and R&D to share field intelligence and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 3+ years leading or coaching technical pre-sales teams in B2B SaaS, with first-line management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect selling to SMB, Enterprise, and Strategic segments.
  • Prior developer experience coding in a high-level language such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and scalable solution architecture.
  • Working knowledge of headless solutions, modern commerce stacks, and AI/search applications.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota across different economic environments.
  • Experience hiring, ramping, and developing SEs in a high-growth team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to speak confidently with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Prior experience in search technology, experience in a global/matrixed organization, and a Computer Science or related technical degree are preferred.
