Description

  • Install, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems, including Debian and RHEL distributions.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain virtualization and containerization environments using libvirt, LXC, and Docker.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters in production, including deployments, services, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Design and maintain secure, high-availability networking infrastructure across distributed environments.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and monitoring services.
  • Support cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to the cloud and manage multi-tenant cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage web servers and database platforms, including Nginx, Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, and related services.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and security using tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Netdata.
  • Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Bash, and Python.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks in Confluence and Jira.
  • Provide occasional L2 technical support and collaborate with external support teams and the R&D department on technology projects.
  • Manage IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripheral devices.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, cloud, web server, database, monitoring, and cybersecurity technologies.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCE, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer are a strong plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
