Description

  • Lead and enhance product security IT infrastructure administration, operational processes, and compliance controls.
  • Manage a team of individual contributors responsible for administering and operationalizing product security IT systems.
  • Build and improve a comprehensive Product Security IT Service Management program and associated processes.
  • Oversee system administration, service delivery, and incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Design, deliver, manage, and continuously improve security services aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish operational standards and service delivery expectations.
  • Ensure reliable service delivery to end users while maintaining security controls and meeting service SLAs.
  • Build a high-performing team by hiring, coaching, and developing security talent.
  • Drive technical solutioning and roadmap planning to reduce or manage security risk.
  • Work with other leaders and stakeholders to improve processes, systems, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and Security.
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading highly complex teams.
  • Experience attracting, hiring, coaching, and managing performance for engineers (preferred).
  • Experience taking ownership of technology decisions while delegating and empowering team members (preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including influencing multiple stakeholders (preferred).
  • Experience communicating analysis and building confidence with non-technical audiences (preferred).
  • Programming and scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Ruby, or Go.
  • Experience managing or supervising Senior System Administrators or System Engineers.
  • Experience building roadmaps that operationalize IT Service Management best practices and security-oriented services.
  • Experience administering critical production cloud-based systems requiring continuous uptime.
  • Experience with secure configuration, troubleshooting, and system hardening of security IT systems; familiarity with ISPM, IAM, CI/CD tools, SAST scanners, DSPM, or DLP is preferred.
  • Experience building automation for service requests using tools such as Jira, Zendesk, or ServiceNow.
  • Experience building robust change management programs with change advisory boards in heavily regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of process automation or AI enablement to reduce administrative work and support decision-making.
  • Experience managing control evidence for compliance audits such as SOX or SOC2.
  • Experience with cloud security and infrastructure as code.
