Description

  • Lead technical design for medium-to-large full-stack features, documenting decisions and anticipating edge cases.
  • Build and maintain TypeScript/Node.js microservices, event handlers, cronjobs, and React user interfaces.
  • Use AI coding assistants for scaffolding, refactoring, testing, debugging, and code review while validating output quality.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from problem decomposition and design through deployment.
  • Write tested, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews, including reviews of AI-generated code.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and improve team development practices.
  • Collaborate across autonomous product pods and contribute to shared services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and conduct post-incident reviews.
  • Identify and address technical debt while balancing delivery speed with long-term system health.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for production services.
  • Proficiency in React, including state management, component design, and performance.
  • Experience designing and building REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including modeling, optimization, and migrations.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka or SQS.
  • Experience working with microservices and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Hands-on daily experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software design, error handling, testing strategies, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong communication, ownership, collaboration, and technical judgment.
  • Experience with AI/LLM-powered products, Kubernetes, fintech or payments, GraphQL, CI/CD, observability tools, or technical mentorship is preferred.
