Description

  • Define and own the acquisition strategy for each EMEA market in partnership with regional and market leaders.
  • Deploy the acquisition strategy across FTE teams, external vendors, paid marketing, and organic channels.
  • Lead and manage a team of 5–6 acquisition specialists across multiple EMEA countries and markets.
  • Set clear targets, coach team members, and improve team productivity and performance.
  • Coordinate acquisition efforts with Account Management, Marketing, Operations, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor and analyze acquisition performance across markets and channels, identifying gaps and taking corrective action.
  • Report progress, insights, and recommendations to the Regional EMEA Director.
  • Refine strategy and resource allocation based on performance data and market needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in acquisition, business development, sales, or growth roles, ideally in a tech, marketplace, or platform business.
  • Proven experience designing and executing multi-market acquisition or growth strategies across diverse geographies, with EMEA experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including leading distributed or remote teams across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of market dynamics and acquisition economics.
  • Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and cross-functional leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.
  • Comfort working with data and analytics tools to assess performance, build dashboards, and translate insights into action.
  • Experience coordinating across marketing, account management, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize and translate regional goals into market-level plans.
  • Experience working with external vendors or outsourced teams, paid and organic growth channels, travel/hospitality/marketplace environments, or multilingual capabilities are a plus.

  • Annual base pay range in Ireland of €102,000 to €128,000 EUR.
