Description

  • Partner closely with senior technical leaders across the broader organization on high-impact initiatives.
  • Work with design, product marketing, prototyping, and other cross-functional partners to shape the guest-host communication experience.
  • Design and build a scalable foundation for reaching hosts in need through notifications.
  • Explore opportunities to enhance the partner integration platform using advanced AI technologies.
  • Develop frameworks and platforms that improve delivery of high-quality business outcomes.
  • Perform design and code reviews to raise technical quality across the team.
  • Mentor and advise other engineers at Airbnb.
  • Contribute hands-on code as a senior individual contributor.
  • Help drive technical direction and strategy for major platform and product efforts.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience building, leading, and architecting full-stack products and systems at enterprise scale.
  • Experience applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles.
  • Proven technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction and strategy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Data Science teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and organizations.
  • US remote eligible; must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.
  • Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required.
  • Preferred compensation components include bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $248,000 to $310,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus compensation.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Eligible for benefits.
  • Employee Travel Credits may be included.
  • US-remote eligible position.
