Description

  • Define and deliver the product vision and roadmap for anti-discrimination and equity platform products.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, designers, operations experts, policy leaders, and product partners.
  • Manage the product backlog and prioritization process based on business value, risk reduction, and user experience.
  • Establish goals, metrics, and success criteria with anti-discrimination and equity and cross-functional leadership.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and insights to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Use data-driven experimentation and measurement frameworks to improve platform products and decision systems.
  • Collaborate with Tech, Global Operations, Policy, Product, Legal, Reputation, and Shared Services teams to align dependencies and execution.
  • Develop scalable, intelligent solutions that detect emerging risks, prevent bad actors, and reduce friction for trusted users.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform, anti-discrimination & equity, trust & safety, or risk domains.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a bias toward data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience driving hypothesis-based product development and iterative learning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Proven success influencing without authority and driving alignment across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for developing inclusive technologies and products.
  • Background or experience working in anti-discrimination, equity, or inclusion is a plus.
  • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity for this US-remote eligible role.
  • Willingness to occasionally work from an Airbnb office or attend offsites as agreed with a manager.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $179,000 to $207,000 USD.
