Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web-based SaaS products.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and product specialists to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability.
  • Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify risks and critical test scenarios.
  • Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, test reliability, and QA processes.
  • Mentor and coach junior SDET team members.
  • Promote quality best practices across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA, test automation, or SDET roles.
  • Proven experience testing complex web applications, preferably SaaS products.
  • Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools and frameworks, specifically Cypress.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-structured test cases and automation code.
  • Comfortable working within cross-functional, international teams.
  • Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, or compliance software is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • ISTQB or other QA-related certifications are preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web architectures is preferred.
  • Experience contributing to test strategies and quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
