Description

  • Lead business requirements gathering from Operations and translate them into system, architecture, and roadmap priorities with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Shared Services to align on business goals and requirements.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and innovation opportunities based on internal operations, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on technical tools and processes for Operations across all Trust domains.
  • Champion a data-driven decision-making culture to support continuous performance improvement.
  • Lead tools and technical system changes across operational lines.
  • Connect system architecture, implementation, and business workflows to enable the business.
  • Drive cross-functional project teams to deliver initiatives on budget and on schedule.
  • Lead the delivery, implementation, and adoption of initiatives and programs across internal and partner teams in Trust Operations.
  • Promote continuous improvement by training, coaching, and implementing Lean and Agile projects while defining KPIs and using data to measure performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; engineering background preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in front office or back office operations-related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience in process improvement, including evaluating, implementing, and managing tools and technologies.
  • Experience driving continuous process improvement to optimize workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks.
  • Strong project management skills with a high level of initiative.
  • Strong data-driven analytical ability and experience solving operational problems.
  • Experience delivering quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in back office operations and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and at multiple levels within an organization.
  • Proven organizational and leadership skills to motivate, influence, and drive results.
  • Experience implementing system designs aligned with multi-year product or technology strategy.
  • Experience as a solutions architect or in an equivalent end-to-end business enablement role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal direction; proactive and autonomous.
  • US remote eligible, with occasional office or offsite work as needed, and must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $129,000 to $152,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus compensation.
