Description

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions across the SDLC, with emphasis on automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strengthen API security and authentication protocols across engineering systems and products.
  • Champion security best practices across engineering, DevOps, SRE, and IT teams.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to mitigate OWASP Top 10 risks.
  • Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to incidents in real time.
  • Prevent and respond to common cyber attacks such as DDoS, injection attacks, and credential stuffing.
  • Define and enforce secure coding standards and mentor development teams on DevSecOps practices.
  • Contribute to security policies, controls, and audit readiness for SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and related compliance efforts.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support 24/7 service reliability and incident response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or a similar role with a strong cloud security focus.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including container orchestration, IAM, and security best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, including securing clusters and deployments.
  • Deep understanding of SAST, DAST, container security, and API security testing tools.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, and remediation techniques.
  • Experience with security incident response, including incident response plans and post-mortems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a CET-aligned timezone and already have work authorization in the country of residence.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are preferred.
  • Experience with AI-driven security tools for anomaly detection is preferred.
  • Experience with Zero Trust principles and implementations is preferred.
  • Experience securing PHP Laravel/Symfony or JS NuxtJS applications is preferred.
  • Proficiency in network security, firewall management, VPNs, and network segmentation is preferred.
  • Contributions to open-source security projects or communities are preferred.
  • Experience in telecommunications, eSIM, or GSMA technologies is preferred.
