Description

  • Lead, mentor, and manage approximately five engineers and QA specialists across concurrent global rollout streams.
  • Own sprint planning, task allocation, technical reviews, and engineering delivery.
  • Establish engineering best practices, integration templates, automated testing strategies, and handover standards.
  • Lead technical integrations with host mobile network operators across signalling, packet core, voice, and messaging.
  • Architect and configure Full MVNO core components, including HSS/HLR, packet core, signalling routing, and messaging platforms.
  • Direct implementation and troubleshooting across Diameter and SS7 signalling stacks.
  • Own service readiness for data, voice, SMS, VoLTE, legacy circuit-switched voice, and international interconnects.
  • Deliver mobile number portability routing and market-specific regulatory compliance, including lawful interception and emergency services.
  • Partner with QA on integration, stress, and acceptance testing; lead readiness reviews and handovers to the 24/7 Run team.
  • Participate in the paid on-call rotation supporting global service reliability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with mobile core networks and Full MVNO integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience leading engineering or QA teams in an agile or delivery-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of packet and voice core technologies, including HSS/HLR, policy and charging, VoLTE, and legacy circuit-switched voice.
  • Expertise with Diameter, SS7, and SIP signalling.
  • Experience with messaging architecture, SMS routing, and operator interworking.
  • Experience delivering mobile number portability and lawful interception solutions.
  • Strong delivery, communication, documentation, and multitasking abilities across concurrent rollout streams.
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible, containerization, or automated signalling test frameworks (preferred).
  • Experience with MVNO vendors such as Nokia, Ericsson, Mavenir, Oracle Communications, Cisco, Summa Networks, NetNumber, or XIUS (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-native or virtualized network functions on AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud; relevant engineering degree preferred.
