Description

  • Develop and maintain backend services that can handle high-volume global traffic.
  • Implement APIs and optimize database queries to support a seamless user experience.
  • Contribute to a modular, service-oriented architecture and resilient system design.
  • Write clean, maintainable code using SOLID principles, OOP best practices, and design patterns.
  • Debug and resolve issues across the stack with precision.
  • Integrate asynchronous workflows using queues and basic event-driven patterns.
  • Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Product teams to turn requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support 24/7 service reliability.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong command of PHP.
  • Experience building applications in Laravel or a strong Symfony background with interest in transitioning to Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, interfaces, and code modularity.
  • Solid SQL knowledge, including database indexing, migrations, and basic query optimization.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively during technical tasks.
  • Familiarity with Docker and basic CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting.
  • Experience writing unit and feature tests.
  • Fluent English and comfort communicating in a remote team.
  • Familiarity with Redis or Memcached and AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with SaaS, Traveltech, eSIM, or GSMA technologies is a plus.
  • Curiosity for distributed systems and horizontal scaling is a plus.
