Description

  • Take ownership of the group’s daily cash cycle and manage multi-currency treasury operations.
  • Ensure high-volume USD revenue is moved from Whop into UAE bank accounts efficiently.
  • Fund GBP and AED corporate cards daily to keep Meta ad spend running without interruption.
  • Lead the transition from the legacy Pleo-based payment setup to the new UAE-native Cashew solution.
  • Evaluate and potentially implement Whop’s virtual card platform for Meta expenditure.
  • Oversee finance operations across DMCC, Acquisity, AI Broker, and other entities.
  • Manage the external bookkeeping partner to ensure accurate and timely Xero records across the group.
  • Oversee the financial wind-down of the legacy UK entity once the new infrastructure is in place.
  • Diagnose business-unit profitability, especially Acquisity, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Deliver concise executive reporting on cash position, profitability, and operational risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a finance leadership or senior operational role within a fast-growing digital, e-commerce, or performance marketing business.
  • Hands-on experience managing high-volume, multi-currency cash flows and cross-border payments in USD, GBP, and AED.
  • Experience managing external bookkeeping or accounting firms and holding them accountable for quality and timeliness.
  • Strong familiarity with modern finance tools and stacks, including Xero, Wise, and corporate card platforms such as Pleo or Qashio.
  • Previous exposure to UAE corporate structures, particularly DMCC entities, and the associated regulatory and tax environment (highly desirable).
  • Experience managing the financial wind-down or closure of international entities (highly desirable).
  • Ability to produce simple, actionable reporting for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
