Description

  • Create automated configuration and test scripts with a primary focus on Python development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design automated test plans.
  • Develop and maintain software tests for system verification, including functional, data harvest, integration, and performance testing.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose server and device hardware issues through the Linux terminal.
  • Drive development of Forge architecture through feature enhancements and additions.
  • Document test procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
  • Support manufacturing tickets and provide prompt responses for the team.
  • Assist with creating, updating, and training ISO processes and procedures.
  • Execute verification services such as performance testing, compatibility testing, and software image creation and deployment.
  • Work with sales, product engineering, production, and operational technology teams to implement test plans for hardware components.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience developing in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for system verification.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of testing computer components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or RedFish is preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto is preferred.
  • Cisco certifications are a plus.
  • In-depth computer component knowledge is preferred.
