Description

  • Work closely with account teams and sales operations specialists to produce bills of materials for customer-specified solutions.
  • Complete configurations and quotes for vendor hardware and software solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to perform solutions performance analysis and sizing.
  • Gather pre-sales proposals and documentation for the project transition process.
  • Complete pre-site qualification and documentation quickly and accurately.
  • Create baseline proposals and RFP responses.
  • Train technical architects on the opportunity, quoting process, and tools.
  • Support technical aspects of sales campaigns for AHEAD solution and service offerings.
  • Build configurations, design solutions, and contribute to solution architecture.
  • Help develop technical credibility across clients and product and consulting sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a data center setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of one or more data center solutions: storage, networking, compute, virtualization, data center management/automation, or security.
  • Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of resources.
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work well within a team and with partners.
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • Able to work under critical conditions.
  • Experience with Cisco CCW, Dell OSC, NetApp, or HPE quote tools.
