Description

  • Request quotes from vendors and provide formal estimates for products and services.
  • Create item and part numbers within AHEAD Foundry’s intranet system.
  • Create and maintain engineering work instructions and related documentation.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Review Engineering Change Orders and support the change process.
  • Triage production tickets and provide production support as needed.
  • Execute performance and benchmark testing as assigned.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Engineering Technician Manager or Product Engineer Manager.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience creating and working with product and service quotes.
  • Experience in firmware, BIOS, and operating systems.
  • 4 years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in Linux scripting.
  • 2 years of experience building and integrating computer components into systems.
  • Experience in engineering change processes.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
  • Technical acuity, problem-solving ability, and an understanding of quality control and computer assembly methods.
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and server hardware components.
  • Proven experience in risk management and change management.
