Description

  • Provide L2 support for cloud and platform environments to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Own incidents, service requests, and problem management in line with SLA commitments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support after-hours incidents and change windows.
  • Monitor and support client cloud infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
  • Support Azure environments across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
  • Work with OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms for containerized workloads.
  • Assist with CI/CD pipeline operations using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitHub.
  • Collaborate with L3 and engineering teams on root cause analysis and complex issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular client discussions on incidents, improvements, and environment optimization.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or managed services roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure production environments.
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, App Services, and Azure Storage services.
  • Knowledge of Azure networking components including VNet, subnets, NSGs, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and VPN Gateway.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, users, groups, and managed identities.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring and RCA.
  • Exposure to Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and cost management/governance practices.
  • Experience with ARM templates or Bicep; Terraform preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub, and/or GitHub Actions.
  • Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration skills.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Proven experience in 24x7 production support and on-call environments.
  • Understanding of SLA/SLO-driven operations, change control, and release processes.
  • Customer-facing experience and vendor coordination experience.
  • Azure Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to SRE practices, AWS basics, advanced Azure services, or FinOps is a plus.
