Description

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to optimize operations and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess feasibility, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Lead machine learning projects from ideation through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Apply best practices for model evaluation, validation, and monitoring.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in machine learning applications and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay current on machine learning advances and recommend improved approaches.
  • Work on large, complex systems including web services, RESTful APIs, and continuous integration and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of software application development and design experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with machine learning systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience with AWS services including ECR, S3, and SageMaker.
  • 5+ years of Python experience, including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience building large, complex systems, particularly web services, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with tree-based models, DVC, Airflow, and/or SQL is preferred.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with other teams.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship now or in the future.
