Description

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in Product, Growth Analytics, Credit, Revenue, and Merchant Pricing to support business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain financial models to forecast performance, reconcile results, and explain variances across key metrics.
  • Collaborate with the ML modeling team to combine financial modeling with aggregated machine learning forecasts.
  • Define top-line performance metrics and targets, then analyze and report realized financial performance to executives and company leaders.
  • Design and deliver scalable automated dashboards and analytics for cross-departmental and executive use.
  • Drive accountability for results through timely insights, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support strategic decision-making for company growth through real-time forecasts and analytics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced analytical roles such as strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, data science, or analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, concise reports.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to evaluate analyses in a broader business context.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort presenting to executives and navigating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
  • Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Curiosity to build processes, models, and workflows with or around AI.
  • Excellent working proficiency in Excel, including readiness for a financial model case study.
  • Comfort with SQL and Looker or other data visualization tools.
  • Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with merchant payments or analytical support for B2B client relationship and sales teams is a plus.
  • Experience building contextual models/files is a plus.
