Description

  • Work on backend projects that contribute to the team's goals and deliverables.
  • Build and maintain backend services and event-driven pipelines that support bankruptcy and hardship workflows.
  • Collaborate proactively with product, compliance, platform, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Contribute to high-availability systems with attention to correctness, auditability, and operational excellence.
  • Balance speed and quality to help meet business goals while protecting systems from downtime.
  • Help shape foundational systems in a greenfield environment.
  • Write clear, well-tested, and extensible code across multiple software components.
  • Navigate large codebases, debug existing code, and participate in code reviews.
  • Seek feedback and take ownership of professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to team community and engagement through growth activities.

Requirements

  • Previous work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
  • Experience with Python, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to turn business scenarios into solutions that span multiple software components.
  • Experience writing clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
  • Comfort navigating large codebases and debugging others' code.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience providing feedback through code reviews.
  • Preferred ability to work effectively with global engineering teams.
