Description

  • Lead incident response, including timely triage and resolution of issues within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and recurring problems.
  • Investigate and fix backend bugs in the Django application, including post-launch and integration-related issues.
  • Tune infrastructure and adjust system configurations to improve reliability and stability.
  • Resolve dependency compatibility issues across application and infrastructure layers.
  • Optimize application and PostgreSQL performance through query tuning, indexing, caching, and connection management.
  • Address observability gaps and improve monitoring and logging practices.
  • Refine runbooks and documentation for operational support.
  • Make minor DevOps improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of commercial experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems.
  • Strong experience supporting complex systems in a production environment.
  • Deep expertise in Django and Django REST Framework.
  • Proven experience designing, documenting, and scaling REST APIs, including authentication, serialization, pagination, and custom middleware.
  • Strong command of PostgreSQL, including schema design, complex query optimization, indexing, transactions, and ORM best practices with Django ORM or raw SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run and Cloud SQL.
  • Familiarity with GCP logging, monitoring, and basic CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence requirements and work independently.
  • Proactivity and strong ownership mindset.
  • B2 level of English or higher.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, preferred.
  • Admin panel development experience using Django, preferred.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, or JavaScript, preferred.
