Description

  • Architect, prototype, and deploy RAG pipelines using vector search, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and contextual compression techniques.
  • Design and orchestrate multi-agent LLM systems using community frameworks and custom orchestration layers.
  • Work on information extraction, storage, and retrieval problems across structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate with machine learning, data engineering, software engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to build robust, high-scale systems.
  • Build LLM-powered systems that uncover insights from business interaction data.
  • Support the AI services that power Affinity's relationship intelligence platform.
  • Contribute to ML operations and data processing systems that underpin AI features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or machine learning, with production machine learning experience.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM applications in production, including prompt engineering and online/offline evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience with LLM-assisted search, such as query understanding and augmentation, text2sql, and entity extraction.
  • Experience with vector databases or graph databases.
  • Experience with document chunking, embedding models, and context window optimization.
  • Familiarity with metadata-based retrieval and re-ranking strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with model evaluation metrics such as perplexity, hallucination rate, and factual consistency.
  • Familiarity with data security, versioning, and MLOps principles.
  • Experience with enterprise AI applications that have strict compliance, audit, or legal requirements (preferred).
  • Experience with dataset engineering, including data curation, augmentation, and synthesis (preferred).
  • Experience with multi-modal search (preferred).
  • Experience with graph-based recommendation systems such as graph neural networks (preferred).
  • Experience developing AI applications powered by agent-based systems (preferred).
  • Experience with packaging, CI/CD, and pipeline automation (preferred).
