Description

  • Turn rough ideas, sketches, voice memos, and half-finished docs into clickable prototypes quickly, often within the same day.
  • Build prototypes for iOS-native surfaces including the map, widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, voice experiences, and in-app moments.
  • Make high-quality UI decisions without waiting for detailed design specifications.
  • Collaborate directly with design, product, and the founder as part of the creative process.
  • Participate in product-direction discussions and push back when ideas do not feel right.
  • Use AI tooling to generate code, write tests, and review your work.
  • Ship builds to test groups, observe real user behavior, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and help define the product from early-stage ideas to working software.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building consumer mobile or web products used by real people.
  • Zero-to-one stage experience and a desire to work in that environment again.
  • Strong design taste and the ability to explain why one design works better than another.
  • Ability to move from a blank screen to a working prototype without close guidance.
  • Deep experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Experience shipping at least a few iOS-native surfaces such as maps, widgets, Live Activities, or Dynamic Island.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-native workflows and tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent.
  • Experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
  • Comfort picking up new tools and technologies as the product requires.
  • Bonus: experience with map-based or location-driven products and spatial UI design.
  • Bonus: familiarity with the Apple ecosystem, including Apple Foundation Model and App Intents.
