Description

  • Architect, design, and operate security controls across cloud, network, identity, endpoint, and application layers.
  • Define cloud security reference architectures, threat models, and guardrails based on zero trust and least privilege principles.
  • Own security tooling across cloud-native services, SIEM, CSPM, CIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management platforms.
  • Build safety guardrails into the agentic AI platform so unsafe actions cannot reach customers.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to make agent behavior secure by design and to review new features.
  • Stand up detection, alerting, and response capabilities integrated with Datadog and Sentry.
  • Automate security response and remediation using cloud-native automation, SOAR, and infrastructure as code.
  • Lead cloud security incident investigations and participate in security-relevant on-call.
  • Turn recurring security and infrastructure requests into self-serve tooling and embed security into CI/CD workflows.
  • Translate compliance, risk, and vendor security requirements into enforceable technical controls and support audits.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or security engineering roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS; Azure experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience securing cloud IAM, networking, secrets management, and distributed systems at scale.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation and with policy as code.
  • Experience building or operating detection and response systems, including SIEM, CSPM/CIEM, and cloud security monitoring.
  • Experience with or a strong point of view on securing LLM and agentic AI systems.
  • A track record of turning recurring security requests into self-serve tooling and reducing manual ticket queues.
  • Proven ability to translate compliance and risk requirements into technical implementations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence architecture decisions and mentor senior engineers.
  • Comfortable operating independently and owning long-term technical initiatives.
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS, CIS Benchmarks, and AWS Well-Architected frameworks is preferred.
