Description

  • Design, develop, and automate cloud security controls across AWS and GCP.
  • Maintain, integrate, and scale cloud security posture management and vulnerability tooling.
  • Investigate cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities and drive remediation through closure.
  • Design and build zero-trust access controls for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  • Partner with incident response teams to develop detections and support security incident analysis and mitigation.
  • Develop security standards and guardrails, integrating them into CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
  • Translate ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR requirements into practical technical controls.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, and code reviews with engineering and product teams.
  • Lead cloud security projects from scoping and planning through delivery and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in cloud security or security-focused infrastructure/DevOps engineering.
  • Hands-on experience securing containerized environments and Kubernetes.
  • Strong AWS knowledge; experience with GCP and multi-cloud environments preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Python for automation.
  • Experience with cloud security posture management or similar security tooling.
  • Ability to integrate security into CI/CD, DevOps, or GitOps workflows preferred.
  • Experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and compliance controls preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Security community, open-source, security research contributions, or certifications such as CKS are preferred.
