Description

  • Apply ASC 606 to subscription, usage-based, professional services, and amended contracts.
  • Prepare revenue entries, deferred revenue schedules, and contract-level reconciliations during month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Maintain data flows between HubSpot and Rillet and reconcile contract data to revenue schedules.
  • Review non-standard contract terms and advise Sales and Deal Desk on revenue treatment.
  • Support ASC 340-40 capitalized contract cost accounting, including amortization and period-end true-ups.
  • Maintain audit support, draft technical accounting memos, and respond to auditor requests.
  • Document procedures, strengthen controls, and automate manual revenue-accounting processes.
  • Explain revenue implications to Sales, Legal, RevOps, and other non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.
  • 4–6 years of revenue accounting experience in public accounting and/or a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Hands-on ASC 606 experience with multi-element, usage-based, and hybrid contracts.
  • Experience with SSP analysis, contract modifications, variable consideration, and deferred revenue roll-forwards.
  • Experience owning a revenue close and preparing reconciliations.
  • Experience with cloud ERP and billing systems; Rillet experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain GAAP to business and executive stakeholders.
  • B2B SaaS experience, ideally in MedTech or another regulated industry, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASC 340-40, HubSpot, revenue sub-ledgers, SOX scoping, or public-company readiness preferred.
  • Eligible U.S. work permit required.

  • Base salary of $100,000–$130,000, plus equity and benefits.
