Description

  • Design, write, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites that reflect real-world enterprise workflows.
  • Build automated tests for platform stability, load capacity, and recovery under stress or failure conditions.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Develop deep integration, API, and data-integrity tests across the distributed architecture.
  • Work with Sustaining Engineering to reproduce production bugs and create regression tests that prevent recurrence.
  • Track, isolate, and rewrite flaky tests to improve automation reliability.
  • Collaborate early with backend developers and product owners to define testing strategies before implementation.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to generate test data, accelerate scripting, and debug failures.
  • Write clean, modular, reusable test code and participate in peer reviews.
  • Monitor QA metrics such as execution times, code coverage, and pass rates to improve the testing pipeline.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Automation QA Engineer or SDET in a cloud-native SaaS or distributed data platform environment.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Programming experience with Java, Python, or Go.
  • Strong SQL skills and API testing experience.
  • A resilience mindset and interest in testing software under pressure in production-like environments.
  • Ability to anticipate regressions and drive quality early in the development lifecycle.
  • Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with GitHub or other version control workflows.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
