Description

  • Design and implement automated data workflows using Python and Excel to ingest, clean, and normalize project data from sources such as Jira.
  • Build and maintain centralized KPI dashboards in Power BI or Tableau with trend forecasting and schedule variance analysis.
  • Serve as the primary architect for the AI-ready KPI dashboard capstone project and deliver a functional MVP by the end of the 12-week internship.
  • Integrate historical project data with predictive modeling to support a proactive, predictive PMO reporting approach.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define reporting requirements and translate data findings into actionable business insights.
  • Prepare and deliver the final presentation for the internship showcase.
  • Author technical documentation, including an AI maturity roadmap and technical guide, to support sustainability after the internship.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
  • Prior experience with SQL or advanced Python libraries such as Pandas or NumPy for data manipulation (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Agile or Waterfall methodologies and interest in applying data science in a corporate PMO environment (preferred).
  • Previous experience or coursework in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning (preferred).
  • Ability to present technical data structures to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively (preferred).
  • 12-week summer internship beginning June 8, 2026.
  • Remote role with opportunity to travel to the Austin, Texas office for onsite orientation.
