Description

  • Support the Workday implementation in partnership with a third-party implementation partner.
  • Build and own the end-to-end Workday operating model for the company.
  • Run day-to-day Workday administration and manage configuration and permissioning changes.
  • Own the enhancement backlog from intake and prioritization through build, test, and deployment.
  • Handle Tier-3 access and security escalations and perform root-cause fixes.
  • Lead security-first release readiness for bi-annual Workday releases, including impact analysis and regression testing.
  • Design and maintain RBAC, security groups, domain security policies, and business process security policies.
  • Partner with IT and Security on SSO and identity governance.
  • Deliver and maintain critical reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate functional requirements, testing, and change enablement for in-scope integrations.
  • Maintain change control standards, audit-ready evidence, playbooks, and knowledge transfer documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Workday management experience.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in Core HCM.
  • Experience with at least 2 additional Workday areas such as Payroll, Talent Optimization, Learning, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, or Integrations.
  • Proven ownership of an enhancement backlog, including intake, prioritization, delivery, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with Tier-3 troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Deep Workday security and permissioning expertise, including RBAC, security groups, domain and business process security policies, least-privilege access governance, and separation-of-duties thinking.
  • Experience leading bi-annual Workday release readiness, including preview, testing, and activation planning.
  • Workday Pro certification in Platform Admin, HCM Core, or 2+ functional areas such as Security, HCM Reporting, Absence, Benefits, Canada Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Learning, or Integrations is preferred.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and prioritization.
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable Workday configurations is preferred.
