Description

  • Perform manual software testing and execute test cases.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects.
  • Work in Jira and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Validate APIs and database data using tools such as SQL.
  • Perform basic test automation.
  • Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams.
  • Participate in technical readiness assessments, interviews, and employer submissions as applicable.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in software testing, QA, IT, or a related area preferred.
  • Recent graduates, career changers, and workforce returners are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC, STLC, test cases, and defect reporting preferred.
  • Familiarity with manual testing concepts.
  • Exposure to Jira, SQL, API testing, or automation testing is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Willingness to learn modern QA tools and complete a technical readiness assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred for some opportunities; prior professional QA experience is not required for all positions.
  • Optional paid training may cover Selenium, Java, API testing, SQL, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Playwright/Cypress, and AI-assisted QA.
