Description

  • Audit CMS-485 Plans of Care against referral documents, H&P records, OASIS assessments, and therapy or nursing evaluations.
  • Review OASIS assessments and communicate recommended edits to clinicians.
  • Support and communicate with nursing, therapy, and other service disciplines.
  • Educate Medicare-certified offices on CMS, PDGM, and billing guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing support to service offices by email, Zoom, and telephone.
  • Communicate with offices about documentation trends, star ratings, and potential revenue impacts.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Manager or Director.

Requirements

  • Active Compact RN license.
  • At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • COS-C, HCS-O, or COQS OASIS certification and experience; this requirement is mandatory.
  • Computer proficiency for performing job duties.
  • Willingness to work remotely during 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred.
