Description

  • Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas of the enterprise and influence engineering direction.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders to define and solve complex problems.
  • Develop and execute technical software development strategy for multiple domains and roadmaps.
  • Own the quality, usability, performance, and delivery of solutions across development lifecycles.
  • Design, build, and improve systems and identify opportunities to apply new technologies to solve critical problems.
  • Mentor and coach engineers and product teams, serving as a role model and strengthening technical expertise.
  • Influence and educate executives on technical strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes.
  • Share best practices, improve processes across teams, and sponsor continuous learning.
  • Analyze costs and forecasts, determine resource needs, evaluate operational processes, and measure outcomes to ensure desired results.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience within a Java framework (Spring).
  • 8+ years of experience with architecture and design.
  • 6+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Proven experience effectively using Cursor AI to accelerate development workflows.
  • Track record of publications in credible conferences and journals (research-to-production experience).
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms and ability to solve analytical problems quantitatively.
  • Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#) and experience with microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
