Description

  • Own the EA-to-GA field motion for the Identity Threat Protection launch, including demos, deep dives, and POVs.
  • Test messaging hypotheses in live deals with Sales Engineers and diagnose competitive loss reasons.
  • Analyze patterns across accounts and brief Product with evidence-based recommendations.
  • Document what works during launch to create a proven playbook for SE enablement at GA.
  • Transition into standing ownership of the identity product area as the product lifecycle progresses.
  • Run adoption diagnostics on identity features and support technical evaluations in competitive renewals.
  • Provide consultative escalation support for complex identity-related customer situations.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on identity messaging and competitive positioning.
  • Grow into direct participation on the most complex identity cases over time.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similarly technical customer-facing role at an identity security company.
  • Deep working knowledge of identity security concepts, including authentication flows, access patterns, privilege escalation, account takeover dynamics, and identity threats.
  • Experience in a pre-launch or early-stage product environment before a playbook existed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Credibility with technical buyers and security teams, including in live customer deep dives and internal roadmap reviews.
  • Experience in a field intelligence or outbound-facing role such as SE, OPM, or Field PM.
  • Proven ability to turn raw field observations into documented recommendations that PM or GTM teams acted on.
  • Direct experience with account takeover, session/privilege abuse, or identity-based attack patterns is a plus.
  • Prior involvement in a new-product launch, early-access program, or beta motion is preferred.
  • Comfort using AI tools to synthesize patterns across qualitative inputs such as support tickets, call transcripts, and win/loss notes is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $133,900 to $192,500 USD.
