Description

  • Build and manage relationships with national and regional channel partners across Japan.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and Partner Account Plans with top partners.
  • Create and implement channel enablement plans for partner sales and technical teams.
  • Design and run demand generation programs with partner and channel marketing teams.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new channel partners, including future MSSPs.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to connect target prospects with the right partners.
  • Drive alignment between Abnormal field leadership and partner regional leaders.
  • Conduct regular sales training and account mapping sessions with partner teams.
  • Support pipeline development, sales qualification, and closing of business.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on channel topics and share best practices with other CAMs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of success using channel partners to drive growth and sales productivity.
  • Strong sales background with a proven channel methodology applied successfully in prior roles.
  • Deep relationships with information security channel partners in Japan, including national and regional partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to adapt communication to executives, sales, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage high activity levels and maintain strong follow-through on partner engagement and pipeline development.
  • Understanding of how to leverage cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineering, Marketing, BDRs, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Ability to work effectively in an early-stage environment with limited resources compared with larger organizations.
  • Conflict resolution skills for handling issues between partners, reps, and customers when needed.
  • Preferred experience influencing territory planning, QBRs, team structure, hiring, or other broader sales leadership topics.
