Description

  • Own a live portfolio of open court hearings and secure attorney coverage before hearing dates.
  • Contact attorneys daily by phone, text, and email to confirm assignments and move hearings to covered status.
  • Negotiate fees and handle counteroffers in real time while protecting margin and cost targets.
  • Prioritize competing hearings, make quick judgment calls, and communicate decisions clearly to the team.
  • Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage gaps with a solutions-first approach.
  • Onboard new attorneys, answer their questions, and serve as their main point of contact.
  • Keep law firm clients updated on hearing status to maintain trust and avoid surprises.
  • Log activity, confirm assignments, and maintain an accurate pipeline and records.
  • Identify recurring coverage gaps and bring improvement ideas to team huddles and meetings.
  • Set up the next day’s coverage and hand off any unresolved items.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a role requiring high-volume phone outreach or direct negotiation.
  • Experience in inside sales, SDR/BDR, account management, collections, dispatch, scheduling, or high-touch customer service.
  • Comfortable and efficient on the phone with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many open items at once.
  • Calm and decisive under deadline pressure.
  • Tech-comfortable and quick to learn new platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in staffing, dispatch, gig-platform operations, or a high-volume call-center/outbound environment (preferred).
  • A track record of hitting or exceeding KPIs in a metrics-driven role (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM or scheduling tools, Mac OS, and Google Workspace (preferred).
