Description

  • Own high-visibility FinOps and data initiatives tied to strategic business KPIs.
  • Drive company-wide cost performance through disciplined execution and sustainable efficiency improvements.
  • Lead optimization programs across Databricks workloads, pipelines, clusters, and storage.
  • Build executive-ready dashboards and narratives that translate cost and performance into business impact.
  • Monitor spend in real time, detect anomalies early, and coordinate cross-team response actions.
  • Define and strengthen FinOps governance, standards, and accountability across domains.
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams on cost-efficient architecture decisions.
  • Drive showback and chargeback transparency and improve unit-economics visibility at the domain level.
  • Support budget planning and forecasting with data-driven insights and ROI-based prioritization.
  • Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for product, finance, and leadership stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Math, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills for cost, usage, and performance analysis.
  • Python proficiency for analytics, automation, and data workflows.
  • Hands-on FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience.
  • Experience with Databricks and modern data platform environments.
  • Experience with BI tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure cost drivers; AWS or GCP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives by ROI and business impact.
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced English for global written and verbal communication.
