Description

Perform day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Oracle database environments.
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports.
Optimize complex SQL queries and memory structures to improve database performance.
Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate for high availability, replication, and disaster recovery.
Execute quarterly RU/PSU patching and maintain security standards for encryption, auditing, and user access control.
Lead migrations of on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure.
Implement and manage Autonomous Databases and Exadata Cloud Service.
Use Terraform or Ansible to automate database provisioning and configuration management.
Assist in designing scalable, multi-tenant database architectures for customer transformation initiatives.
Ensure database services meet or exceed SLAs and lead root cause analysis for critical production outages.

Requirements

7–8 years of dedicated Oracle DBA experience, preferably in a Managed Services Provider or large-scale enterprise environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is required.
OCI Solutions Architect or Autonomous Database Specialist certification is highly desirable.
Experience with Oracle 12c, 19c, or 21c databases and multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB).
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
Advanced RMAN strategies, ZDLRA, and cross-platform migrations experience.
OCI experience is preferred, with AWS or Azure database services also relevant.
Expert-level Linux/Unix shell scripting skills.
Advanced SQL tuning, optimizer management, and OEM 13c experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including managing client expectations during high-pressure migrations.
