Description

  • Independently guide the technical direction and implementation of the team within the defined architecture from conceptualization through deployment.
  • Evaluate trade-offs among correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to drive the right solution.
  • Lead technical documentation and repository management practices, including branching, pull requests, and merges.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on architecture, dependencies, product strategy, and direction.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • Mentor Senior Engineers and other team members through Communities of Practice or project teams.
  • Verify and validate architecture implementations and influence architecture decisions beyond the team.
  • Provide technical oversight to support well-tested, scalable, secure, and performant enterprise systems.
  • Support refinement of technical details such as definition of done and task assignments in coordination with product ownership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of web development experience.
  • Proficiency with Python and Python frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker.
  • Working knowledge of frontend development technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect protocols.
  • High level of English proficiency to work with a globally distributed development team.
  • Experience leading teams in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience following and adapting high-level architecture to project and client needs.
  • Ability to apply object-oriented programming principles, with preferred experience in Python.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Very good knowledge of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP.
  • Experience integrating Customer Identity and Access Management solutions (preferred).
  • Ability to set technical strategy and direct implementation across several teams or an entire product (preferred).
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience working with non-relational databases (preferred).
  • Knowledge of building cloud-native applications (preferred).
