Description

  • Communicate project status, recommendations, requirements, and delivered features to client stakeholders.
  • Design and develop performant, testable, scalable, and secure client software.
  • Build Node.js microservices, React interfaces, mobile capabilities, integrations, and core platform logic.
  • Develop mobile persistence and synchronization for iOS or Android, including offline functionality and sub-two-second cold launches.
  • Implement AWS KMS field-level encryption for sensitive user data and build secure third-party integrations.
  • Write unit, integration, and contract tests covering complex boundary conditions.
  • Plan and estimate work, participate in Agile ceremonies, and follow project quality standards.
  • Independently drive delivery across the project lifecycle within defined architecture.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to identify user pain points and refine solutions.
  • Review code, mentor engineers, and contribute to engineering communities and technical governance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-grade, multi-tenant web platforms or native mobile applications.
  • Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience with Express, TypeORM, and class-validator; React, React Native, Docker, and PostgreSQL experience.
  • Experience developing microservices, setting up local environments, and building high-volume, highly available enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in Jest unit testing and writing unit, integration, and contract tests.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience with Oracle or SQL Server, including joins, views, GROUP BY, and HAVING clauses.
  • Knowledge of exception handling, data structures, multithreading, memory management, application tuning, OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and OWASP.
  • Experience with Agile development, UML/C4/ArchiMate design, scalable enterprise architecture, and mentoring engineers.
  • Mobile focus: proficiency with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, SQLite/CoreData/Room, and offline synchronization patterns.
  • Backend focus: proficiency with REST/BFF API design, data aggregation, modular services, and multi-tenant schema isolation.
  • Preferred experience with AWS, serverless systems, S3, parameter stores, Kubernetes, ORMs, cloud platforms, and microservices or serverless patterns.
