Description

  • Craft efficient, performant, testable, scalable, and secure client code to a high quality standard.
  • Ensure software security through Software Composition Analysis, including triage, prioritization, remediation, and verification of issues.
  • Provide status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements, validate understanding across the team, and create and maintain documentation.
  • Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with a focus on reliability and observability.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify and remediate technical debt to improve system stability, performance, and developer velocity.
  • Own projects from technical design through successful launch and production deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Execute work within the current methodology and uphold quality standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in software engineering with a primary focus on Python and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Deep understanding of system design and architecture, with the ability to solve ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Expertise with Python package management tools such as UV or Conda.
  • Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
  • Experience managing Docker containers and orchestrating workloads with Kubernetes and AKS.
  • Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Experience building frontend and backend applications at scale.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, preferred.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as MCP or A2A, preferred.
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation, preferred.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML, preferred.
  • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx, preferred.
  • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor, preferred.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle, preferred.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, preferred.
