Description

  • Write performant, testable, scalable, secure client code with high quality standards.
  • Ensure code security through Software Composition Analysis, including triage, prioritization, remediation, and verification.
  • Provide status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements, validate team understanding, and create and maintain documentation.
  • Design and implement scalable AI and agentic workflows using LLMs with a focus on reliability and observability.
  • Work with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify and remediate technical debt to improve stability, performance, and developer velocity.
  • Own projects from technical design through successful launch.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Execute work within the current methodology while upholding quality standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in software engineering with a primary focus on Python and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to own technical features from design through production deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Deep understanding of system design, architecture, and solving ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
  • Expertise with Python package management tools such as UV or Conda.
  • Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
  • Experience with Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes and AKS.
  • Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Experience building frontend and backend applications at scale.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as MCP or A2A.
  • Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP and serialization formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx.
  • Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, including inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, and properties.
