Description

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and external consulting teams to design, implement, and maintain digital analytics tracking across web, mobile, and Connected TV/OTT platforms.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert on digital analytics deployment and optimization, and provide guidance on scalable, sustainable instrumentation best practices.
  • Document requirements, data models, and key data definitions to support consistent and transparent data collection.
  • Translate business and analytics requirements into technical specifications that front-end and back-end engineers can implement.
  • Support engineers by answering technical questions, reviewing proposed implementations, and validating tracking approaches against data collection goals.
  • Contribute to documentation of analytics tracking and data flows to improve technical clarity for engineering teams.
  • Leverage and integrate tools such as Google Tag Manager, Firebase, and related SDKs to ensure consistent and efficient event tracking implementations.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager and stakeholder teams on implementation planning and prioritization of analytics capabilities.
  • Audit analytics implementations and help resolve data quality issues across platforms.
  • Work with partners and third parties to define analytics data contracts and coordinate integrations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital analytics implementation or analytics engineering.
  • Proven expertise with GA4 Enterprise, including event schema design, custom dimensions/metrics, and BigQuery export.
  • Hands-on experience with GTM web and mobile containers and Firebase SDK for iOS and Android.
  • Experience implementing Measurement Protocol for CTV platforms without native SDK or GTM support.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and BigQuery querying.
  • JavaScript proficiency sufficient to read, debug, and write tracking scripts and tag logic.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit and resolve analytics data quality issues across platforms.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills across product, engineering, and BI stakeholders.
  • Prior media or streaming experience with video playback tracking such as heartbeat events, milestone firing, and buffering states is preferred.
  • Familiarity with COPPA-compliant analytics for children's digital products is preferred.
  • OTT/CTV platform experience with Roku, Apple TV, or Fire TV and knowledge of SDK constraints is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating third-party integrations and defining analytics data contracts with external partners is preferred.
  • Willingness to adopt and experiment with AI-powered tools and workflows to improve implementation, documentation, and debugging processes is preferred.
