Description

  • Serve as the primary QA consultant and technical lead for the engagement, advising both 3Pillar and client teams.
  • Lead a UiPath-based proof of concept and build automation workflows for a UI-only enterprise platform.
  • Define and own the QA strategy across functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing.
  • Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Implement and maintain UiPath automation workflows, including Studio, Orchestrator, and UiPath Test Suite.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for smoke, regression, and nightly execution.
  • Translate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into test scenarios and automation coverage.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, release planning, and retrospectives.
  • Prepare QA status reports, manage defect tracking, and communicate risks and blockers.
  • Coach and mentor QA engineers and client resources on automation tools and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance (SDET).
  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Lead, Automation Lead, or Technical QA Lead for complex systems.
  • Proven experience creating test automation frameworks from scratch, not only enhancing existing ones.
  • Hands-on UiPath experience is required for this engagement, including UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and UiPath Test Suite.
  • Experience with UiPath Test Manager for test case management, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience automating complex desktop and web UI applications with UiPath, including dynamic elements, pop-ups, and multi-step navigation.
  • Familiarity with UiPath best practices such as REFramework, exception handling, logging strategies, and selector management.
  • Experience configuring UiPath Orchestrator environments, including robots, queues, assets, and scheduling.
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebDriverIO.
  • Experience with API automation frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or SuperTest.
  • Strong programming or scripting experience in Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA automation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain QA recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • UiPath certification, such as UiPath Certified Professional – RPA Developer, is a strong asset.
