Description

Architect and evolve the Android automation framework to support a growing portfolio of security products.
Design testing strategies for VPN-specific scenarios, including network-dependent flows and unstable or switching connection states.
Collaborate with developers and other QAs to troubleshoot issues and produce detailed bug reports.
Uphold QA best practices and contribute to QA strategy.
Continuously evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve the QA process.
Support automation and scaling efforts across the VPN portfolio and flagship antivirus product.
Test mobile screens built in Jetpack Compose and classic XML.
Build and maintain CI pipelines and automation scripts for test execution and result processing.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience automating UI tests for Android apps written in Kotlin.
Strong hands-on experience with Espresso and Kakao-Cup.
Experience testing screens built in both Jetpack Compose and classic XML.
Experience with Robolectric and Mockito for test infrastructure and mocking dependencies.
Experience building and maintaining pipelines in CircleCI.
Experience using Bash/sh scripting for automation and result processing.
Experience sharding and parallelizing tests with Flank.
Experience configuring device matrices within Firebase Test Lab or similar emulators.
Understanding of VPN app testing challenges, including network-dependent flows and connection-state flakiness.
At least upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
Preferred experience maintaining UI test suites across multiple apps in mono- and multi-repo setups.
Preferred comfort with ADB, log analysis, and Android build processes via Gradle (Kotlin DSL).
Preferred experience testing A/B frameworks, including feature-flagged flows and variant-dependent UI.
Preferred familiarity with Google Play Billing integrations, including subscriptions, purchase flows, and edge cases.
