Description

  • Guide the technical direction and implementation of the team within the defined architecture from concept through deployment.
  • Evaluate trade-offs among correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to select the right solution.
  • Lead technical documentation practices and repository management, including branching, pull requests, and merges.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on architecture, dependencies, product strategy, and delivery direction.
  • Review code, maintain documentation, and resolve complex bugs with attention to security, performance, and reliability.
  • Mentor Senior Engineers and other team members through Communities of Practice and project-based leadership.
  • Verify and validate architecture implementations and influence architecture beyond the immediate team.
  • Provide technical orchestration across tasks and support refinement of technical details such as definition of done.
  • Work with stakeholders to build well-tested, scalable, secure, and performant enterprise systems that deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of web development experience.
  • Strong experience with Python and Python frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker.
  • Working knowledge of frontend development technologies including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
  • High level of English proficiency to work with a globally distributed team.
  • Experience leading teams in Agile software development environments.
  • Demonstrated experience adapting high-level architecture to project and client needs.
  • Ability to apply object-oriented programming principles, with preferred experience in Python.
  • High-level design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural styles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and OWASP.
  • Preferred experience integrating Customer Identity and Access Management solutions.
  • Preferred experience setting technical strategy across multiple teams or an entire product.
  • Preferred experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred experience working with non-relational databases.
  • Preferred knowledge of building cloud-native applications.
