Description

  • Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Develop client code that is performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
  • Contribute to planning and estimation efforts using project methods and tools.
  • Gather requirements and present developed features to clients.
  • Execute complex work within defined methodology and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to identify pain points and improve solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance activities.
  • Mentor others through the Engineering Practice community and Communities of Practice.
  • Drive project delivery independently within the defined architecture.
  • Own technical responsibility for delivered solutions and support problem analysis, resolution, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Java 8 or Java 11.
  • Experience with Java 11, EclipseLink (or similar to Hibernate), JSF2, Bootstrap, CSS3, Oracle DB, AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Willingness to work on UI tasks using JSF.
  • Experience with JPA implementations such as Hibernate or EclipseLink.
  • Experience with relational databases, web frameworks, and Maven/Gradle.
  • Unit testing experience.
  • Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS3, Ansible or Chef, JBoss/WildFly, JSF2 or PrimeFaces, Oracle DB, AWS, and CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and contribute to architectural activities at the account level.
  • Experience helping remove delivery roadblocks and partnering with project management to raise risks and improve processes.
